St Michael's Gourmet Evenings

We are launching a new Diary of Gourmet Evenings for 2012, each evening will take inspiration from a theme and will include four courses with wines to match each course.

With a maximum of 25 people, they are the perfect chance to enjoy and experience all the best things about food and wine and will be a real insight into each chosen theme..

'French Theme'

Taking inspiration from Raymond Blanc's 'The Very Hungry Frenchman' on BBC2, St Michael's Hotel will take you on a journey through the regions of France with a wonderful selection of French wines and delicious cuisine to match. 'C'est magnifique, n'est pas?'

'Champagne Theme'

Your hosts will be the delightful wine expert, Damien Chase from local wine company, Free Run Juice and our General Manager, Ivan Curtis, who has been working in the luxury hospitality industry fro more years than he cares to remember!

The menu can be downloaded here, highlights include a delicious Cornish Seafood Plate and Rack of Cornish Lamb.

Each course will be complemented by a Champagne, showing how this versatile tipple can complete a gourmet meal experience.
